Westside Gunn and Doechii have linked up for a remix of “Egypt”.
The unexpected collaboration opens with a snippet of Doechii talking to DJ Ebro and speaking about some of her favorite rappers including MF Doom and of course, Westside Gunn before they take turns spitting over a Cee Gee Incorporated beat.
She says: “Lately I’ve been into a lot of MF DOOM, rest in peace. Westside Gunn — he’s so talented.”
Following the release of the song, the Griselda star paid tribute to the female MC.

In addition to Sly Green, a Buffalo drug kingpin who was sentenced to over 100 years in prison back in 1994, 11 is dedicated to Westside Gunn’s close friend Big Dump who died earlier this year.
In a press release, the rapper said: “11 is the most personal project I’ve ever made. It’s dedicated to my brother who was killed in April, but narrated by my brother who has life in prison fighting to come home. This is the reality for Westside Gunn.”
