Drake has been criticized by JPEGMAFIA over the subjects of his raps.
Speaking to Billboard, the alternative rapper called out the 6 God when addressing the state of Hip Hop.
He said: “People yearn for something new, especially in rap. We’re yearning, we’re tired. We don’t wanna hear Drake complain about bitches anymore. We don’t fucking care, he’s 40. We need something different. I’m here to try to provide and cultivate that as much as I can because rap fans are fucking bored.”
The Brooklyn native added: “Conscious rap has Nas, trap rap has Future, experimental rap is me. That’s it.”
