The video sees East and another man — later identified as the rapper’s driver — come up the stairs when East stumbles, appearing to hit his leg on the edge of the stair, before screaming in pain. His driver then approaches him and asks: “You good?” and begins helping East up and into the house as the rapper screams: “That shit hurt!”

“This Nut Ass Scooter I Bust My Ass And Thought I Died Last Night Worst Pain Of All Time My Mom Sent Me This Im CTFU,” East captioned his post. “My Freak ass Driver Gone Ask me If Im Good was Wrong Wit Em Nut Shit.”

A number of rappers hopped in Dave East’s comment section to give him a playful ribbing for the fall, including Fabolous who wrote: “What’s really crazy is.. all a n-gga know how to say when something bad happen to you is yo, you good??”

“Cuz said, you hood? [laughing emojis]” added J. Stone, while the likes of Lloyd Banks, Hi-Tek and Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul hit the Harlem spitter with a series of laughing emojis.

Though Dave East seems to be taking a goofy approach to getting injured, the rapper recently told HipHopDX that he’s much more mature now, than he ever was before.

“I feel like the shit that used to excite me doesn’t anymore, and the things that were my early drive isn’t my drive anymore,” East told DX. “My first drive was to get out the projects, and now it’s like what’s pushing me now?

“What’s pushing me is the respect of my peers where they’ll see me and shout out what I’m doing or seeing fans from all backgrounds with a Dave East lyric tatted on them that tells me with the time I been in this shit, I did me enough to the point that someone bought into it and wants to see where else I take this shit.”
