King Von‘s beef with NBA YoungBoy has extended way beyond the late rapper’s life, which is why resolution no longer seems viable as the Chicago MC’s sister continues to carry hostile feelings about it.
On Saturday (November 25), Kayla B shared a brief clip to her Instagram Story in which she can be heard snapping at a DJ for throwing on music by her departed brother’s rival.

Even though the phone camera is constantly moving, making it difficult to see what exactly was going on or where the incident took place, the 28-year-old could be heard shouting: “Cut it out! Cut it out!”

Months before his death, Von accused NBA YoungBoy of having “cap in [his] raps” while listening to his 2018 song “Play Wit Us” on Instagram Live. At the time, there were also rumors that Von had begun dating YoungBoy’s ex-girlfriend and baby mother, Jania Meshell.
Tensions persisted even after Von was shot and killed in 2020 as YoungBoy subliminally dissed him on the 2022 mixtape, Colors, rapping: “N-gga, this that ‘Squid Game,’ O Block pack get rolled up/ Murder what they told us, Atlanta boy get rolled up.”

Furthermore, NBA YoungBoy and Quando Rondo dropped 3860 last November, on which the latter takes shots at King Von and Kayla B.
“My favorite opp dead, sister talk too much, no, I don’t like the bitch/ Lul Timmy rolled her brother up, got stepped on in some Nike kicks,” the Georgia native spits on an instrumental by TJ Produced It and Yaktree.
The lyrics reference Lul Tim, who allegedly murdered King Von three years ago outside a hookah lounge in Atlanta after a fight broke out between his crew and Rondo’s entourage. The Chicago rapper, who was 26 at the time, was subsequently rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead later that day.
Lul Tim (real name Timothy Leeks) was arrested and charged with felony murder over King Von’s death. He was later released on $100,000 bail but has been unable to stay out of trouble, having since been involved in a high-speed police chase and being hit with multiple drug charges.
In an interview with Angela Yee last year, Quando Rondo opened up about the deadly shooting and claimed he and his people acted in self-defense after being attacked by King Von’s entourage.
“I’m thinking these were some regular individuals,” he continued. “So I’m letting this group come by. Next thing you know, a n-gga hit me. Boom bow. I lie to you not. It’s like I had an out-of-body experience.”

Quando previously addressed King Von’s death on the song “End of Story,” which was released just weeks after their deadly altercation. Soon after, he seemingly dissed the OTF rapper during a virtual concert in April 2021.
“He got caught without that pole and now that bitch-ass n-gga gone … I’ll piss on his grave!” he said during the set.
