Lil Nas X has a crisp and clean new look as he heads into his next phase with the upcoming release of Nasarati 2.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (March 26), the “Industry baby” hitmaker showed off his fresh cut, having reduced the longer strands down to a low fade.

“Light ag@in,” he captioned the visual carousel, which also included a few selfies as well as the artwork for a single by fellow musician Cobrah, who commented under the post: “Real recognise real.”

Earlier this month, Lil Nas X revealed that he’s ready to drop some new heat as he asked his fans to help him decide which joints to release first.

In an Instagram post, the “Montero” superstar told his followers that he was finally ready to share songs that he had been holding back from unleashing for a while.

The post even got a comment from SZA, who wrote: “Caption is me . I love you .. everything you make is awesome [heart emoji].”

Just days prior to that, the 24-year-old previously posted a song snippet with some sexually explicit lyrics about his youth.

“Grindr sessions sexing with faceless accounts/ Bringing bodies in me then sneaking them out/ Back in middle school I was fiending for dick/ 7th grade, sending my homies some pics,” he raps, before adding: “Daddy never knew what I did as a kid/ He would’ve crucified me but trust me, I get it.”

The song might make it on his next project as he wrote in the tweet: “nasarati 2 otw… trust me [mending heart emoji].”

The Georgia native released  his debut mixtape Nasarati back in 2018, months before his breakout hit “Old Town Road” blew up.
