Nicki Minaj has been touring her act across the country since the start of March, but she was able to take some time off to spend with her family during a recent stop in Illinois.

Earlier this week, the the Queen Barb passed through Chicago for two shows at the United Center on Wednesday (April 24) and Thursday (April 25) as part of her ongoing Pink Friday 2 Tour. Prior to taking the stage, she visited the Shedd Aquarium with husband Kenneth Petty and their son, who she commonly refers to as “Papa Bear.”

“Thank you to the amazing employees at the Aquarium in Chicago today,” the caption reads. “#PapaBear had a great time.”

Nicki Minaj’s current trek has been filled with explosive performances and unexpected guest appearances, and her stop in the Windy City was no different. During both her concerts, she shared the stage with G Herbo for a performance of “Chi-Raq” as well as Jeremih for “Favorite” and “Want Some More.”

Just last month, the 41-year-old stopped by Philadelphia for a show at the Wells Fargo Center. During her set, the “Barbie World” hitmaker brought out local icons Freeway and the Young Gunz.
