As A&E prepares to premiere Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G. on September 4 as part of its Biography series, the network has released a new trailer for the upcoming documentary.
In the 30-second clip, snippets of interviews with fellow New Yorkers Nas and JAY-Z are interspersed with old footage of the late Brooklyn Hip Hop legend. They can both be heard reciting lyrics to some of Biggie’s songs.
Rolling Stone reports A&E is also working on documentaries on the lives of Kanye West, 2Pac, Grandmaster Flash and Chance The Rapper in the near future.
