The Game has offered up some bold opinions regarding the best rappers to have come from the West Coast.
Unveiling his list of the 100 greatest Wesr Coast rappers, the Compton native made some controversial choices.
The most notable of which was putting Kendrick Lamar at number four, below 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube.
Game then placed himself at number five.

Rounding out his top 10 were Kurupt, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and Xzibit.
Some of the more interesting calls on the list were placing Tyler, The Creator at 14, will.i.am above the likes of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and W.C. and rating Kid Ink as a better MC than the likes of Earl Sweatshirt and Glasses Malone.
As of late, The Game has been embroiled in a number of controversies after being forced to sell his Calabasas mansion by the courts to fund a $7 million judgement against him.

The Compton rapper was accused by a woman named Priscilla Rainey of sexual assault during the production of his dating show She’s Got Game.
Game refused to appear in court regarding the suit and in 2016 a default judgement was issued against him with the rapper ordered to pay Rainey a little over $7 million.
Rainey had previously requested that the court sell The Game’s mansion to cover the debt as the rapper has refused to pay the sum awarded by the court.

The Game had attempted to avoid the ruling by claiming that he house is actually owned by JTT Holdings, which he also has equity in.
However, the court ruled that JTT Holdings was a shell company and that it can be forcibly sold.
The mansion is currently on the market for $4 million, a figure still significantly short of the $7 million judgement.
Game has also fallen out with Kanye West despite previously standing by his controversial contemporary through thick and thin.

West believed that Game had betrayed him by hanging out with Toronto rapper Top5 who had previously threatened to kill the “Stronger” star.
The Game quickly hit back, writing on Instagram: “Fuck you and yo Maybachs little [ninja emoji]. I’ll be back in LA in a week, come and get em yo self!!! I ain’t never asked yo weird a%% for nothing & when you gave me the cars, I said you ain’t have to & I was good but you insisted.”
