Kanye West has seemingly aborted his plan to open a pornography division of his Yeezy brand.

As pointed out by Kurrco on Tuesday (May 7), all posts related to the announcement of Yeezy Porn have now been scrubbed from Ye’s X (formerly Twitter) account and YouTube page.

The news follows a letter from far-right political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, who serves as Yeezy’s chief of staff, stating his opposition to the adult-film plans.

Yiannopoulos described the move as dangerous to his “spiritual and physical health,” citing his past homosexuality and addiction struggles.

“I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons,” he wrote.

“But also because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual.”

Last month, TMZ reported that the Chicago native planned on launching a porn studio, which would be part of “a broader adult entertainment division” in his existing Yeezy empire.

The outlet claimed that he was in talks with Mike Moz, the ex-husband of porn star and industry veteran Stormy Daniels, to help him get the brand up and running.

As for the launch date, it was reported that Yeezy Porn could make its debut as early as this summer.

Just after the report was published, Kanye seemed to confirm the news with a short video clip that read the date “4 24 24” and a succinct message against a plain-white background: “YEEZY PORN IS CUMMING.”

The video’s voiceover featured a woman directing viewers to his website, but there was nothing on there besides Yeezy clothing items.

The announcement was met with an overwhelmingly negative reaction, with many fans telling him to “return to Christ,” among other things.

His account was deactivated shortly after, though the reason behind that remains unclear.

This move would certainly be bold for Kanye, who has been very critical of adult content yet vocal about his appetite for it.

In a 2019 interview with Zane Lowe, prior to the release of his PG-friendly gospel album Jesus Is King, he admitted he had a “full-on pornography addiction.”

“For me, Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction,” he said. “My dad had a Playboy left out at age five and it’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life.

“From age five ’til now, having to kick the habit and it just presents itself in the open like it’s okay and I stand up and say, ‘No, it’s not okay.’”

He then credited his faith for helping him cure said addiction, saying: “With God I’ve been able to beat things that had a full control of me.”

Despite this, Kanye was later accused of frequently showing pornographic content to adidas employees during their lucrative Yeezy partnership, including sex tapes of him and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
