This week’s Hip Hop album sales finds A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’sBigger Artist making its debut on the Billboard 200 at #4 and surpassing pop maven Miley Cyrus and her new album, Younger Now, which landed at #5 for the week ending October 5.
Rittz’s final Strange Music, Inc. album, Last Call, enters the chart at #43, while Smokepurpp’s Deadstar debuts slightly higher at #42. PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Seven Days EP hits the chart at #82, marking a somewhat dismal debut for the OVO Sound signee.
Elsewhere on the chart, Macklemore’s Gemini takes a 61 percent dip in sales, winding up at #19 and Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2 drops from #3 to #7.

With 66,726 total album equivalent units, 9,940 pure album sales and a streaming count of 81,223,051, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s debut studio album, Bigger Artist, has entered the chart at #4. His 2016 mixtape, Artist, peaked at #70 on the Billboard 200. This marks the Bronx native’s highest-charting project to date.

Rittz’s Last Callis the rapper’s final project for Strange Music, Inc. With 12,230 total album equivalent units, 10,884 pure album sales and a streaming count of 1,661,258, it was just enough to land him at #43. The Georgia rapper’s last album, Top of the Line, peaked at #19, while 2014’s Next To Nothing debuted at #14.

PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Seven Days EP debuted at #82, pulling in 8,102 total album equivalent units, 2,179 pure album sales and a streaming count of 8,664,442. The Canadian singer/producer’s previous project, Partnextdoor 3, debuted at #3 in 2016, which in contrast is an extremely sizable difference. Its predecessor, 2014’s Partynextdoor 2, hit the chart at #15.
