Damon Dash recently settled a legal matter stemming from an offense at his former DD172 office space in Tribeca, NYC, just in time for news to emerge that his latest business venture is motor oil.
The former music mogul has teamed up with a Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based oil factory to sell motor oil products under the name “Dash Motors.” A roughly 2-minute promotional clip for the brand was filmed at Classic Car Club in New York City and Bass Oil Factory in Williamsburg. According to the oil’s packaging in the video, the product is geared toward classic car collectors.
Earlier this month Dash and his associates settled a “public nuisance” charge that they received after storing and illegally selling alcoholic beverages in Dash’s DD172 space (via HypeTrak).
