Cardi B says she plans on suing the LAPD following an incident at her home earlier this month, during which she was allegedly made to take off all her clothes.
Recalling the harrowing ordeal in an Instagram Live stream on Monday (March 25), she claimed that law-enforcement officers accused her of selling drugs without realizing who she was.

“They had all the helicopters in LA,” she said. “Yo, I was freaking out. They had me outside for like three hours. They had me getting butt-naked outside. Shit was crazy. It was deadass a movie and whatever, but you already know.
“I’m about to sue the LAPD. I told them like, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Like do I look like I gotta sell some shit? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no shit like that.'”

She continued: “They didn’t believe me. It was some white cops and they ain’t know who I was. They was really tough on me and everything. They said somebody gave them a clue. I really feel like it was one of my opps and shit, like they really trying to ruin my life type shit. Like y’all don’t even fucking know. I been going through a lot lately.”
She then completely changed her tone and laughingly said, “No seriously,” before thanking her fans for supporting her new single – so it’s possible she may have been joking.

Cardi B’s latest single, “Enough (Miami),” arrived earlier this month. In an Instagram Live following its release, the Bronx rapper said the track was inspired by people coming after her, and that it originally went by a different name.
“The song was originally called ‘And Her Name is Cardi K,'” she began. “And the reason why I called this song ‘Cardi K’ … I said it in an interview … I was really angry. I felt like … bitches was ganging up on me. I felt like I was very, like, underestimated. Even like my fanbase. I have a fanbase that’s big, but it’s a very underestimated …
“So ‘Cardi K,’ I don’t know if you know how people be like, ‘EBK,’ like ‘Everybody Killa.’ I just felt like everyone was on some ‘Cardi K’ shit, like ‘Y’all on some Cardi Killa shit? Then fuck you hoes! Fuck you bitches!”
She concluded: “I got in the studio on some mad shit, but honest with you, I’m not on that space right now. I don’t give a fuck about nobody right now. But that’s her original name. Her original name is ‘Cardi K,’ but her stage name is ‘Enough (Miami).'”

The cut features menacing synths and trap-inspired drums with a minimal beat that gives Cardi plenty of room to showcase her ferocious bars.
“One bitch, two bitch, old bitch, new bitch/ None of y’all bitches not gon’ do shit/ I’m in Miami, I pull up on cruise ship/ You in Miami, four hoеs to a room shit,” she raps on the blockbuster single.
