Young Jeezy called in to DJ Green Lantern’s radio show “Invasion” on Tuesday (July 8) to give an update on his current projects.
The Atlanta rapper revealed that he is currently in Los Angeles to play the role of the central Hip Hop artist of Ice Cube’s upcoming comedy Janky Promoters.
The movie, which is Ice Cube’s first screenplay since Friday After Next, will also star Mike Epps and Terry Crews.

Jeezy also revealed that a remix to his song “Put On” should be coming soon. The rapper confirmed that the remix will feature at least Jay-Z.
Young Jeezy’s upcoming album, The Recession, drops August 19.
