Sy Ari Da Kid has gone outside the box for his latest video. The Cash Money rapper took inspiration from the hit filmGet Out and created his own auction scene for the “On Sale” music video.

In the visual, Sy Ari takes on the role of a white man bidding at the auction and explores a sinister side of white America’s affinity for black culture, adding a new layer to the straightforward track.

“Even though the song was about hustling and making money, we didn’t want to do the typical in the hood video,” Sy Ari told HipHopDX. “We came up with the idea around the time Get Out was coming out. The idea that white America loves, wants to buy and copy everything urban America does and started. So I jumped out of character and played a white man. I was always a fan of Busta Rhymes’ videos being different.”
