HipHopDX Premiere: South Florida-based Hip Hop duo, Father Figures, is comprised of Bleubird and Jabrjaw — two wild and crazy guys just having fun with the music they make. Bleubird, who was formally tied to underground indie Hip Hop artists like K-the-i??? and Astronautalis, appears to have gravitated towards that booty-shaking bass. He brought in his cohort to round out the vibe in their new video for “Keeping It Moving.”
Shot by Ryan Stockroll, the video stays true to the duo’s mantra, which is “curating dopeness and thriving in a cultural wasteland.” The track comes from their forthcomings self-titled album, a rowdy project produced entirely by Mister Belvedere with additional vocal help from Ashely Reda, Baby Blanket and Pompano $lim. Plus, Fake Four, Inc.’s Ceschi Ramos also pops up on a “No Limit Tank” remix alongside ShowYouSuck and 6Cardinal.
