HipHopDX Premiere: Frequent Lil Yachty collaborator Kevin Pollari, who has just signed a deal with Rick Rubin, has teamed up with teenage singer Iliana Eve for the new single “All Alone.” The track also features Mike Smith, a former judge of the BET television show One Shot with Sway Calloway, DJ Khaled, Remy Ma, RZA and Tech N9ne. With production from Jonathan Hay and King Graint, it’s a nice introduction to Pollari as a solo artist.
“I loved working with Kevin and see why Rick Rubin got involved with his career,” Hay told HipHopDX. “Pollari and Iliana Eve really compliment each other vocally on this record. I worked with my usual suspects of Mike Smith, Iliana Eve, King Graint and Shachar Boussani, and that combination has produced some really great results over the last few months.”
With tracks like KXNG Crooked’s “Too Ashamed” and Eve’s “Kylie’s Daddy” under their belt, it’s a combo that appears to be working. Listen to the new song above.
