HipHopDX Premiere: Signed to Reflection Music Group, Deraj is intent on making a mark on the current music scene. His most recent offering, “Sometimes” with Adrian Stresow, is a song about turning to faith in times of hardship. Produced by OneBeatMusic and Halo Hitz, the song touches on the familiar feelings of insecurity and subsequent victory over them. The pop vocal chorus addresses the fears over sparse chords and light handclaps as Stresow sings, “I can’t do this on my own, I can’t do it all alone.”

Over the summer, Deraj released the single “Know That’s Me” featuring K¥NG and put out the album For the People with B. Cooper. He made his debut in 2014 with the Mirrors & Medicine EP and is clearly not going anywhere. Listen to the new single above.
