It’s all about having the “suit Blackie Chan with them racks in hand,” T.I. explains in the remix. T.I. is no stranger to the Jidenna look. The ex-trap rapper slid right into his three piece suit after 2004’s Urban Legend. Actually, there were still slight remnants of trap T.I. on King, so he really only had one leg in the pants at that point, but by T.I. vs. T.I.P., the rapper was fully fitted with a white collar. Of course King came out in 2006, when T.I. landed the ATL role, so his whole life changed up. The angry, gritty T.I. known for “Rubberband Man” and “24’s” morphed into the smooth, clean “Why You Wanna” club rapper that he is today.

Look out for the “Classic Man (Remix)” on DJ MLK’s upcoming GoodNight Don’t Exist In ATL 7. Here’s ATL 6.
