Veeze has fans dreaming about what a potential J. Cole collaboration would sound like after he posed for a photo with the Dreamville honcho.

Earlier this week, the Ganger rapper was a special guest at Lil Baby’s birthday bash at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where J. Cole performed, and the two ran into one another backstage.

Veeze later shared a collection of photos from the event, captioning the photo dump: “HavinAgoodmerrychristmas.”

Fans flooded the post’s comments section to express their hope that a team-up with J. Cole was on the way in 2024.

J. Cole has been ripping through features all of 2023 and if he keeps that energy going into 2024, the idea of Cole and Veeze teaming up isn’t that far-fetched.

Veeze leveled up in 2023 with the release of his album Ganger,which caught the eye of another rap heavyweight in JAY-Z.

Back in September, on the heels of Ganger‘s arrival, the Detroit lyricist launched his imprint Navy Wavy through Warner Records with his manager Terrence “Snake” Hawkins. Their partnership caught the attention of Warner’s CEO and Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck.

He continued: “Tom Corson and I are over the moon that Veeze decided to join the Warner family. Now if only he will give us some golf tips.”

Veeze himself mentioned what ultimately influenced him to secure the new opportunity, saying: “Going golfing with Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson really persuaded me to do the partnership. Those guys are first-class gentlemen and I can see myself learning a lot from them.”
