Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda got into a hilarious back and forth over who has had a better career in film between the two of them.

In an exchange captured by Power actor Gianni Paolo on Saturday (April 20), Murda was adamant that his work with Bruce Willis trumps anything Yayo has done as an actor.

“Bruce Willis! Who you did movies with?” he shouted animatedly at his peer a few times.

“I did S.W.A.T too, stupid,” Yayo replied.

“Who was the lead actor? You can’t even name it,” the 43-year-old quickly replied, before once again reiterating: “Bruce Willis!”

Murda was referring to 2018’s Reprisal, where he played an armored-car security driver named Barney. More recently, he was in a Tubi film named Street Connected.

Yayo, on the other hand, was referring to his part in the 2011 Benny Boom-directed S.W.A.T: Firefight. He also landed a brief role playing himself in 2010’s Morning Glory, which featured an ensemble cast including Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilson and Jeff Goldblum.

Earlier this year, Uncle Murda admitted that he lied about getting shot in the head earlier in his career.

During an interview with The Danza Project from early January, the G-Unit affiliate talked about the image rappers portray and how truthful he has been over the years in cultivating his own.

“All rappers lie,” he began. “I remember I lied about getting shot in the head. That was early on in my career — I lied about getting shot in the head because I wanted to like, ‘Aight, shit, maybe I could get this whole 2Pac50 Cent wave going on right now, n-gga.’

“I just had the song with JAY-Z and Fab[olous] — the ‘Brooklyn’ record — and it was good momentum […] there really was a shooting that took place, and I’m like, let me act like I got shot in the head for real, and then it’s going to be like, ‘Oh shit! Murda got shot in the head! The next day he back like ain’t shit happen.’”

Adding more context to how he pulled it off, the rap veteran said: “I was actually in a car that did get shot up, so it was a piece of glass from when the bullets hit the window — a piece of glass from the window actually cut my head and it was a little blood on my face, so it looked like it was a believable story at the time.”
