T.I. has said that a set of unlikely greats all have one unlikely trait in common — and even fans may be surprised.

In an interview with B. High ATL which dropped on Wednesday (October 25), the Grand Hustle Records founder said that Eminem, Andre 3000 of Outkast, and Nipsey Hussle all share one common trait.

“I waited, and paid,” he began. “Andre 3000, Eminem, [and] Nipsey Hussle is the longest verses that you will ever, ever, ever […] but when they finish, they’re going to come together masterfully.”

The Rubber Band Man, of course, was referring to their behaviors in the studio. But the wait —and the hit to the album budget — is more than worth it, he implied. Check out the interview below.

T.I. has frequently spoken highly about other artists as well. He recently praised Boosie Badazz, with whom he squashed a long-standing beef — but with whom, he believes, he can’t work on a joint album at this point because the ship has sailed.

Tip was a guest on the We In Miami podcast’s October 17 episode when he shared that belief. When asked about the status of the joint LP that had previously been scrapped, then was back on again amid a beef between the pair, the Atlanta native said it’s not going to happen.

“I feel like the time that we had allotted for it, we kind of passed by it,” he began. “You know what I mean? It was ready. We got the records. But it’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just releasing the record, and I feel like we kinda missed the window.”

He continued: “Not saying that that window can’t present itself again. We have a very healthy relationship.”

Boosie and T.I. have been beefing off and on since 2020. Though they briefly squashed their differences, the feud between the pair re-ignited in March over some comments T.I. made in an interview.

Then, in April, Boosie revealed that he and T.I. had buried the hatchet over their brief feud. He told VladTV that the two handled the spat like “bosses” after a phone conversation.

“It just went like two bosses of handling it, man,” he began. “First of all, we got kids who love each other. First we wasn’t agreeing and we was going back and forth — he spoke how he felt, and I spoke how I felt. He felt me and I felt him. I gave him an apology.”

He continued: “After we kept going back and forth, the things he was doing for me in my life at the time, I kinda felt bad. He was doing some real shit helping me in a lot of ways, but I told him I still stand on what I stand on. When he explained it to me, we got by it.

“We got by like bosses supposed to get by. We ain’t let the internet or none of that bring us out of character.”
