Soulja Boy has been accused of lying after claiming to be the “first rapper with a basketball court inside his crib.”

The “Crank That” rapper made the claim in a livestream captured on Wednesday (February 14), in which he gave fans a tour of his alleged home which included an indoor court.

Pretending he was on an episode of MTV Cribs, Soulja said: “Welcome to SODMG cribs, happy Valentine’s Day. I’m about to take y’all to the basketball court. First rapper with a basketball court inside his crib!”

He then continued his tour of the luxury pad, which included its own locker room and secret games room.

Fans immediately called out the rapper for lying about his claim and the court even belonging to him.

One user wrote: “That’s that penthouse they used in now that’s tv. [crying laughter emoji] you rent it out Gucci mane rented it. with his wife gee years back [crying laughter emoji] he lie so bad.”

Another added: “He capping that a suite a Palms hotel in Vegas,” while a third person observed that “it says palms on the floor” of the basketball court.

All of this should be taken with a grain of salt considering Soulja Boy has a habit of claiming to be the “first rapper” to do or have random things.

Last year, the “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” rapper blasted Lil Yachty for claiming that he and Post Malone were the first rappers to stream on Twitch back in 2017.

“Lil Yachty, you is a bitch n-gga. Fruity-ass n-gga. Painting yo muthafucking toe nails and shit. Bitch, you wasn’t the first n-gga to do shit. Lil bitch-ass, pussy-ass, punk-ass, Oreo-looking ass, fuck-ass n-gga.”

Soulja Boy previously claimed that started the “big” trend when naming artists or songs.

“Wasn’t nobody hollering this big shit before 2017. 2017, n-gga. I said Big Soulja, n-gga. We know who started this shit, n-gga,” he said on Instagram Live in 2022. “Big Soulja. Big Draco, I got everybody saying big. I got everybody putting big in front of they name.”
