Nicki Minaj has revealed that her son may have inherited her rap skills after sharing his adorable rendition of one of her latest songs.

The clip, which Minaj shared via TikTok on Tuesday (April 11), features Minaj’s bundle of joy, Papa Bear, performing his own version of her latest hit, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.”

During the video, the two-year-old is captured saying “Uh Oh,” which is an oblique reference to Lumidee’s early 2000s hit, “Never Leave You (Uh-Oh),” that Nicki sampled for her latest single.

“Uh oh,” the Pinkprint rapper wrote in the post’s caption. “Red Papa da Sleeze #PapaBear #Barbz.”

Minaj welcomed her son in September 2020, with husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, who she married in 2019.

Last month, Minaj uploaded a sexy teaser for the track via her Instagram account, and she didn’t leave much to the imagination.

This clip shows the Queens icon sporting a black bikini whilst wearing a red kimono covered in flower designs. She struts in the backyard of the oceanside mansion while savoring the cool, crisp breeze that whips across the water.

Nicki hasn’t made it clear when the video will arrive, but plenty of friends and fans flooded the Young Money rapper’s comment section, including Chloe Bailey, JT, Doechii and Ice Spice, the latter of whom wrote “Snatched.”

“Red Ruby Da Sleeze” arrived on streaming services last month and served as the debut of yet another Nicki Minaj alter-ego. The Go Grizzly, Tate Kobang and Cheeze Beatz-produced record invaded the Hot 100 landing at the No. 13 slot.

Some believed a pair of bars on the track were actually subliminal shots aimed in the direction of Megan Thee Stallion: “Seven-hundred on ’em horses when we fixin’ to leave/ But I don’t fuck with horses since Christopher Reeve.”

A fan on Twitter chimed in, writing: “yall was gagging over all them latto and megan lines but now that nicki returning the same energy yall crying and having mental breakdowns tighten up. this is what rap is.”

While there’s no confirmation following “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” all signs seem to point to the New York native officially preparing for the follow-up to her 2018 album, Queen.
