Meek Mill has addressed rumors of a beef with his former Maybach Music Group labelmate Wale.

The Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. natives have had a complicated relationship, with Meek calling out Wale a decade ago for not promoting his music, leading to words later being exchanged.

On Saturday (January 20), the Dream Chasers boss was asked directly on X (formerly Twitter) if he had any “ongoing feud” with Wale.

Meek denied there was an issue between the two, writing: “Hellllllllllllll no. We had our arguments b4 years back but I came in this game getting money with him …I’m not holding no grudges against my peoples.. and for what???”

This is the first time that Meek Mill has commented on their relationship since 2020, when he reflected on their lucrative love/hate dynamic.

“Me and @wale argued a thousand times & made millions together,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of them together.

2014 marked the low point in their relationship, with Meek accusing Wale of “hating” on him for not supporting his album Dreams Worth More Than Money on social media.

“Wale just ain’t gone tweet a thing about my album…. He’s been hating on me long time now …don’t even text me cornball! #UNOTMMG,” he wrote in a Twitter rant.
