According to News Channel 5, the altercation began when two men entered the restaurant and one of them, James Fletcher, 36, struck Starlito’s friend. The report goes on to say that Starlito then pulled his weapon and fired, hitting Fletcher in the leg. One eyewitness report said “It did erupt into a fist fight at first, and then a gun came out. One man got shot in the leg.”

Fletcher’s injuries are reportedly not serious and the News Channel broadcast went on to say he’s refusing to cooperate with investigating authorities.

As for Starlito and his friend, it is believed that they fled the scene in a silver BMW crossover with “fresh damage on the passenger side.”

Josef Guzmirtl, Director of Operations at the restaurant, said that customers and staff were forced to “move out of the way and get into safe places,” and he thanked the staff for being helpful.

As of Thursday morning (August 3), Starlito is on the run from the law and has not yet been arrested. At the time of the alleged shooting, Starlito was reportedly out on bail for harassment charges, according to the East Nashville News.

This charge arose after Starlito allegedly sent the complainant threatening messages, as well as photos of himself next to the complainant’s car with a gun. One message read “somebody is going to die tonight.” On this charge, Starlito is supposed to appear in court on August 16.

The incident also comes just days after Starlito scrapped with Nashville and G-Unit vet Young Buck at a local basketball game.
