Calabasas, CA

Kanye West continues to expand his fashion resume and his latest venture might be with Calabasas High School. Yeezy’s team recently pitched the school’s athletic department to design uniforms for the teams, according to TMZ. The possibility of the collaboration is boosted by the fact that Calabasas is sponsored by adidas, the same company Kanye partners with for his Yeezy brand.

Besides designing the uniforms, ‘Ye would also donate to upgrade athletic facilities. The football program hadn’t reached the playoffs in more than 10 years, but saw a resurgence with the hire of former Tennesee Volunteers quarterback Casey Clausen as head coach. The team won its second straight CIF Division 5 title last season with help from Keyshawn Johnson Jr., son of star NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

The rapper/producer is also asking the school to change its colors and mascot from the Coyotes to the Wolves. ‘Ye has a song called “Wolves” on his last LP, The Life of Pablo.

Kanye continues to be a force in the fashion world. His Calabasas-inspired Yeezy collection sold out in five minutes earlier this year, and he and wife Kim Kardashian just released their children’s clothing line last month.
