Over the course of the past 22 weeks, Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” has hovered near or at the top of the Digital Hip Hop/R&B Single Sales chart and now finds itself in the #1 position for the second week in a row, for the week ending April 20. The catchy hit is followed by Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.,” which has also gone back-to-back in the #2 slot, after debuting at #1. But that wasn’t all for the Compton superstar, who has four songs in the Top 20.

In the #3 spot, K.Dot’s “DNA.” made its first-week debut with robust sales and a stellar video to accompany the audio. Kyle’s Lil Yachty-assisted “iSpy” gets bumped to #4 and at #5, Post Malone’s “Congratulations” makes a double-digit jump.

Bruno Mars’ Back-To-Back At #1 With “That’s What I Like”

Fans may as well get used to hearing this song all through the spring and summer months as Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” is still here to stay after months on the charts. The Hawaiian crooner’s “24K Magic” sits at #13 after hitting the #6 spot last week but it was just a 4 percent drop in sales. It seems like the trend for Mars is that when one hit song wins, the other falters, but only by a bit. Don’t be surprised if the funky title cut of his latest studio album makes another jump up the chart in the weeks to come.

Kung Fu Kenny Gets #2 & #3 Slots

Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. has the sales to go along with the critical acclaim, which has been customary for the TDE superstar. The lead single “HUMBLE.” is a Mike WiLL Made-It banger that many didn’t expect from K.Dot considering the jazz and funk-tinged sound from To Pimp A Butterfly. The track lands at #2, even with a 3 percent drop in sales. Lamar’s other big single, “DNA.,” is also produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, and the #3 debut could signal big things for the track in the coming weeks. Another two tracks from DAMN., “Love” featuring Zacari, and “Loyalty” featuring Rihanna, made their debuts this week at #11 and #15, respectively.

Post Malone, Future, and G-Eazy Had A Good Week

Post Malone’s “Congratulations” made a whopping 194 percent leap in sales to land the Quavo-assisted track to #5, up from #16 last week. Future is continuing to win with “Mask Off” at #6, falling two spots from #4 last week despite a 19 percent uptick in sales. G-Eazy’s “Good Life,” featuring Kehlani, made a 382 percent jump in sales, landing the single at #20 up from #59 just last week. Childish Gambino’s funked-out “Redbone” drops one spot to #19 this week.
