Record Store Day is just a month away, April 22 in fact, and in honor of that day, André 3000 will be releasing his cover of The Beatles’ 1969 hit “All Together Now” off Yellow Submarine on a 7″ vinyl.

The rendition was featured in a 2010 Nike commercial highlighting Kobe Bryant’s superb athleticism with the Los Angeles Lakers for the NBA Finals.

Only 5,000 copies of the vinyl will be pressed, which will also include the instrumental on the B-side, exclusively for Record Store Day.

Among other artists who have music that will be released uniquely for Record Store Day are the late Big L whose 1995 Devil’s Son EP will be available on a 12″ vinyl, Frank N Dank & Jay Dee with The Jay Dee Tapes featuring production from a then-unknown J. Dilla on a 10″ vinyl and The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1999 release Born Again, among others.

Independent record stores all across the country have chosen to participate. If you’re wondering if your local mom and pop shop is one of them you can find out on the official Record Store Day website, which also includes full list of exclusive records to be released as well.
