It wasn’t long ago that Snoop Dogg playfully joked around with Donald Trump as part of a Comedy Central Roast of the businessman, but a lot has changed since 2011. For one thing: Trump is the president now.

It also seems like Snoop’s feelings toward the New York real estate mogul have changed. In the video for the remix of Toronto instrumental collective BADBADNOTGOOD’s  “Lavender,” Snoop literally takes aim at a character called “Ronald Klump” (guess who he looks like) — kidnapping him and chaining him up before firing at him with a toy gun.

The move hasn’t gone down well in the Oval Office, and the president himself has tweeted angrily about Snoop’s antics:

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”

President Trump’s lawyer also clapped back at Snoop in a TMZ interview — we cannot believe that’s a sentence we just wrote — admonishing the rapper:

“You know what’s really sad is that there’s so much more that Snoop can do for this country than these sort of ridiculous videos.”

“Maybe something he wants to do is join my diversity coalition for Trump. Maybe what he wants to do is join Jim Brown with the Amer-I-can program, and maybe there are other things he can do in order to help the inner cities get past the violence and the drugs and the killings that are going on, instead of showing more killings.”
