Oberhausen, Germany

Past collaborators Drake and The Weeknd reunited onstage this weekend during a stop on Drizzy’s Boy Meets World tour in Germany, shooting down any rumors of a rivalry between the two Canadian superstars. The moment drew cheers from fans in attendance and comes after Drake’s recent appearance in The Weeknd’s “Reminder” video.

The Weeknd appeared on Drake’s 2011 Take Care album, most notably on the “Crew Love” single.  Saturday night, some of that love was on display after Drake gave the stage to the artist born Abel Tesfaye, who ran through his hit single “The Hills” with fans singing along in unison.

The joy definitely appeared genuine after fans captured video of the pair embracing with Drake shouting out the “real Starboy” in honor of The Weeknd’s latest album.

Back in November, The Weeknd said he was open to working with Drake again, so the hope of an OVOXO collaborative effort in the future looks promising after this showing.
