In a candid interview with the inimitable Sway Calloway for his Sway’s Universe radio show, West Coast gangster rap pioneer and celebrated actor Ice Cube sat down to discuss his upcoming feature film, Fist Fight andhis recently announced Big3 basketball league. However, that was just the tip of the, uh, iceberg. One of the more interesting tidbits of information surfaced after the pair started talking about music. At the 9:03 mark, it was revealed Cube is releasing a 25th anniversary edition of his classic 1991 solo album, Death Certificate, which comes equipped with a special bonus.
“We’re gonna drop the 25th anniversary edition of Death Certificate,” Cube told Sway. “We got three new songs on there. A song called ‘Only One Me,’ another song called ‘Good Cop, Bad Cop,’ and then a song called ‘Dominate the Weak.'”
