Lil Wayne fans are slowly getting to hear Tha Carter V piece by piece and a new snippet of the much-anticipated project popped up on Instagram today (January 17).

The song, that appeared on LilWayneYMHQ, is supposedly called “Life of Mr. Carter,” based off Weezy’s given name, Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.

This comes after Martin Shkreli leaked some of Tha Carter V on Periscope, claiming he obtained a copy of the legendary LP. Weezy’s camp reportedly did an internal investigation to try to find out who let the music leak and they made the notorious pharmaceutical exec promise he wouldn’t share any more of the tracks.

The reason the world does not have Tha Carter V, of course, is because Lil Wayne and Birdman are locked in an ongoing legal battle that started back in 2014 when, months after the project was supposed to come out, Tunechi demanded off the label. He then filed a $51 million lawsuit against his father figure and Cash Money. Birdman recently said on Beats 1 that fans will hear the LP, but Lil Wayne said not so fast.

Besides Tha Carter V, Weezy is reportedly preparing three other projects to drop this year, Dedication 6Velvetand Funeral.
