Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly living separately after his release from the hospital last week, but that’s apparently not all the distance Kim needs.
Kim is allegedly contemplating divorce from her husband of two and a half years, according to an Us Weekly report citing a friend of the family.
“She wants a divorce,” the source says to the tabloid, noting that she is preparing a plan for full custody of their two children, North, 3, and Saint, who just turned 1.

Yeezy was admitted to UCLA medical center last month for exhaustion after canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour and he reportedly tried to keep recording from his hospital bed. The effects of Kim’s robbery in Paris reportedly contributed to Kanye’s mental state and paranoia.
The couple was also reportedly fighting over renovations to their home, to the tune of $10 million due to Kanye’s indecisiveness.
Kardashian, who has been previously married — and divorced — twice before, has been living in the couple’s mansion with the kids. She is reportedly “being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now” while ‘Ye receives outpatient treatment in a rental home.

The friend adds that Kim is trying to be a good wife while her husband recovers (she did reportedly sleep beside him while he was in the hospital), and will not make a decision until he’s well, but is looking forward to freedom.
“She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs,” the source says, “but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
