PARTYNEXTDOOR has built himself up as one of R&B’s premiere artists and now has two RIAA certifications, according to a post he made on Instagram yesterday (November 8) from backstage at a Miami concert.
The awards are a gold award for 500,000 units sold of his “Come and See Me” single off this year’s P3 album and a platinum plaque for one million copies sold of “Recognize” from 2014’s PARTYNEXTDOOR 2 LP. Both songs feature OVO boss Drake.
PARTYNEXTDOOR has also shared the success of Drizzy’s VIEWS, which has been ceritified triple platinum. The singer appeared on “With You,” which also featured Jeremih on uncredited vocals. He and the Chicago artist are reportedly working on a joint LP together.
