The controversial main event from URL’s “Double Impact” has topped BattleRap.com’s list of the best battle releases from April. A scuffle during the doubles battle between fan favorites Tsu Surf/Tay Roc and seasoned 2-on-2 partners DNA/K-Shine cut the battle short around the mid-way point, but the dispute has helped the footage do big numbers on YouTube.
“The fire in [Surf and Roc]’s rounds, along with the quadruple star power on the bill and the controversy from the fight has helped push the battle past one million views in about 17 days, making it the first English-language battle to hit that watermark this year,” writes BattleRap.com.
Other notable entries on the list include the successful URL returns of Philly battle legend Reed Dollaz and “Making the Band” cast-member E. Ness, as well as a Battle Of The Year contender between Danny Myers and B Dot.
