Jay Z got a lot of people talking last weekend when he held his B-Sides concert in New York City and brought out numerous figures from his past. Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and others all joined Jay on stage during his set and had fans reminiscing about early 2000s Roc-A-Fella.

Recently sitting down with Philadelphia’s BOOM 107.9 both Beanie and fellow State Property member Freeway talked about their performance and says that nothing seemed to change.

“Life pulls you in different directions,” Beanie said when asked about the show. “The other day it was like nothing every changed. Everybody was laughing, happy, smiling, joking. It was normal.”

Beanie Sigel was also asked whether it would be possible for a future collaboration between many members of Roc-A-Fella Records. At first he seemed doubtful but then explained that he himself is game and even thinks it’s a strong possibility.

“I don’t want to spoil it, but the reaction from the public, whether we on the same page or not, the public want that,” he explained. “I think after giving them that for two days, and the reaction from it. It’s undeniable. It’s got to happen and I think it’s going to.”
