French Montana has visited Max B in prison, with the incarcerated rapper posting photos of the reunion on social media.

Max posted two pictures of him and his Coke Wave collaborator posing next to each other behind bars, with Max wearing prison overalls and French rocking a designer t-shirt.

The timestamp on the pictures dates them to April 21.

Max B also posted a caption saluting his friend and collaborator’s generosity, while joking about his effect on the female guards inside the prison.

The “2025” hashtag appears to indicate Max will be released from prison next year.

Despite being locked up for well over a decade, Max B has still been given reason to celebrate from behind bars.

In a phone call to Max last year, French Montana revealed that the Wave God had earned his first gold plaque for his contributions to his 2013 hit “Once in a While.”

French posted the call online and Max can be heard saying: “That’s loopy, n-gga. That’s fucking huge. That’s going on my wall. That’s my first accolade, man. Oh, man. Thank you, beloved. It’s special, beloved.”

Max B was previously expected to be freed last year following a substantial reduction to his initial 75-year sentence for armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and murder in 2009.

The Harlem native had his sentence substantially reduced to 20 years in 2016 after taking a plea deal, before announcing three years later that it had been further cut to 12 years.

In recent months, he has been teasing that he could be coming home, saying: “It’s almost over. Two more joints, n-gga, I’m sliding out. Max Bigavell. 45, I feel good, look good. I taste good, I smell good, n-gga.”

The rapper and producer also recently posted pictures of prison visits from his 14-year-old son Carter.

Carter said of his relationship with his father: “Even behind the wall, my pops taught me a lot. Not just my love for music, but my determination, my perseverance, will to love, and strength.
