DJ Khaled was so excited about his new collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger that he had to tell famous friends like Travis Scott and Fat Joe all about it.

Khaled’s new golf-themed Tommy x We The Best collection features nine different polo shirts inspired by Hilfiger’s 1990s styles, which became iconic in Hip Hop when they were adopted by artists like Grand Puba, Snoop Dogg and Aaliyah.

Appropriately, Puba’s verse on Mary J. Blige’s 1992 classic “What’s the 411?” which shouts out Hilfiger and brags about “[D]oin’ lovely in all sports/ Even swing the pole at the hole on my golf course,” soundtracks an ad for the collection.

Check it out below.

To promote the brand, Khaled sent pieces from the collection to some of his peers, including Scott, Joe, Ludacris and Latto.

Joe, when opening up the shirts, seemingly had not yet viewed the above ad, as he noted: “We gotta get Grand Puba to do the soundtrack or something.”

Ludacris looked legitimately thrilled at the throwback-style designs.

“You motherfucker! Bro, this is some College Park, Banneker High School shit,” he said, referring to the Fulton County high school from which he graduated in 1995.

DJ Khaled said on Instagram that all profits from the collection would go to his We The Best Foundation, which provides scholarships, music programs, and more for children in the Miami area.

The Khaled collab is not the only Hip Hop-related action that Tommy Hilfiger has seen lately.

Last September, Quavo and GloRilla were spotted modeling the new Tommy Hilfiger x Avirex collab jackets during New York Fashion Week.

Video captured by an onlooker showed the pair rocking the jackets at a dinner hosted by Hilfiger and SZA. Glo also rocked additional Tommy gear under the jacket in homage to Aaliyah — which makes sense as she was tapped to collaborate with the iconic brand earlier that year.
