Big Hit has long been a fan of The Alchemist, he just didnât know the legendary producer was white.
In a hilarious studio moment captured on camera on Thursday (January 25), the rapper and father of Hit-Boy was shocked to discover Uncle Alâs ethnicity.

âThe homie thought Alchemist was just a light-skin homie,â Hit-Boy said in the video while laughing.
âI said, âBitch, you canât tell me this n-gga ainât albino or something!ââ Big Hit exclaimed. âI said, âIâm finna go record with the homie.'â
Commenters joined in on the fun, with one user saying: âLMAOOOO this got me weak as hell. Al got soul tho, i canât blame pops fr.â
Boldy James even hopped into the comments section, sarcastically saying: âAlchemist is not a black man! Woah I thought he was just a light skinned n-gga.â

Boldy and Alc have released a number of full-length projects together including 2013âs My 1st Chemistry Set, 2020âs The Price of Tea in China and 2021âs Bo Jackson.
The Alfredo producer and Hit-Boy have been linking up recently, with the two producers handling all the beats on the new Benny The Butcher album, Everybody Canât Go.
The âRacks in the Middleâ producer and his father also joined forces with The Game earlier this month to release the collaborative project Paisley Dreams.
The nine-track effort was made in one night at Hit-Boyâs studio, the Compton rapper revealed on social media upon its release.

Hit-Boy offered more backstory in his own Instagram post, adding: âThe Game pulled up on me and Big Hit 4 days ago and i was thinking maybe we ask him to get on the âBang Freestyleâ remix or something at MOST. But instead he locked in with us for the rest of the night and we made a 9 song album.â
Before the release of Paisley Dreams, the father-son production duo celebrated Big Hitâs release from prison with their first team effort, The Truth is in My Eyes.
