6ix9ine has been released on bond following his arrest for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Yailín la Más Viral in the Dominican Republic.

According to the Daily Mail, the polarizing rapper was released from custody on Thursday (January 25) after making a bond that, in dollars, comes out to around $507. The judge overseeing the case reportedly found that the evidence brought forward by prosecutors was not enough to keep him, because Yailín is not cooperating.

The claims of violence were brought by her mother, Wanda Diaz, but Yailín denies anything took place. Diaz did not attend the proceedings to share her side, however, because she was allegedly ill from a cosmetic surgery complication.

As it stands, 6ix9ine is currently barred from leaving the country without permission from a judge and must make a court appearance every two months.

As previously reported, the “GUMMO” rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) was taken into custody on January 17 for allegedly inflicting “physical and psychological violence” on Yailín.

This is just the latest bit of legal drama that 6ix9ine has had to face regarding his tumultuous relationship with Yailín la Más Viral. Last month, she was charged with felony assault following the release of footage of the couple in a physical altercation.

According to arrest records obtained by HipHopDX, the Dominican artist (real name Jeorjina Guillermo Diaz) was arrested in Palm Beach County, FL, in the early hours of December 15.

She was charged with felony battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, obstruction of justice, and criminal damage to property worth $1,000 or more. A surety bond of $9,000 was posted for her by record producer Santiago “Alofoke” Matias, courtesy of 561 Bail Bonds.

Footage from 6ix9ine’s Instagram seemed to capture the argument in real-time. The story, which was posted shortly before Yailin was arrested, began with 6ix9ine writing — in Spanish — that “Yailin needs help,” and that he was remaining quiet about the whole situation until he could no longer do so for her protection.

Later in the video, the pair can be seen arguing extensively, and at one point, Yailin uses a 2 x 6 to smash 6ix9ine’s phone out of his hand.

The pair can also be seen tussling with one another before Yailin is carted off to jail.
