In this week’s DX Daily Weekend Edition, Lupe Fiasco releases the video for “Just Might Be Okay” only nine years after its debut. The song was featured on Lu’s 2006 classic, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor, but finally premiered, at least partially, as a response to the protests in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray who died while in police custody. Then we speak with a dope kinda-new artist, Eskeerdo. He’s straight out of Miami and comes from a Cuban background. Eskeerdo talks about Obama’s efforts to normalize relations with Cuba. Finally, Snoop Dogg explains the difference between biting and paying tribute. Relax and take notes.
