Yo Gotti starts his track with the words, “if i can paint a picture,” and he does, both with his lyrics and new visual.
Set in the streets, Gotti and J. Cole perform their reflective narration in “Cold Blood,” sharing stories about childhood, families and personal struggles. The scenes switch back and forth between the artists and locals to further strengthen their storytelling. Canei Finch, who provides the soulful hook, sets the tone of the single with “it’s cold blood in a nigga/The streets left no love in a nigga.”
“Cold Blood” is the Memphis emcee’s third single from his latest album, I Am, which is currently available on iTunes.
