    focus has been my favorite producer as of late. the beats he did for stat quo, the "respect my conglomerate" beat, his "homage" beats, strictly fire.

    i'm really happy about the new school producer squad (cats like focus, 6th sense, komplex, dj khalil, and even drumma boy with his recent bangers). production sometimes goes unnoticed, especially the old heads who still ride the pioneers like dre premo and the late dilla.
