Here's a crash course on Kendrick Lamar's most unheard of bars from HipHopDX's own Michael Trampe.

Kendrick Lamar (formerly known as K Dot) has been doing his thing for years, but some people are only familiar with his career post-"Control" verse or his Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City album.

I had the pleasure of assisting TDE with promotions about five years back and watched K Dot transform into Kendrick Lamar. It was amazing to see such a talented artist break into the industry first hand.

With that said, I've put together a list of eight songs that I think every Kendrick Lamar fan should hear and they probably haven't.

Enjoy!

Kendrick Lamar – “Fuck A Hook”

Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock & MICrophone Tone – “Cruel” (Prod. Nachural, Scratches By DJ No Phrillz)

Kendrick Lamar ft. Freeway & Joe Budden – “Ride Up"

Kendrick Lamar – “Kurupted”

Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock & Ab-Soul – “Mandatory”

Kendrick Lamar ft. Ab-Soul – “For The Girlfriends”

Kendrick Lamar – “World Negatives”

Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock & Lil Fats - "We Don't Play"
