What were you doing in 2007? Let's revisit a throwback track from Jay Z.

Here's a rare track from Jay Z that was found on a DJ Green Lantern mixtape. The song was recorded in 2007 and even though no names were said in the track, it's presumably a Dipset and Lil Wayne diss. The song was made during the Dipset and Jay Z beef and right after Lil Wayne made comments about Jay's retirement. In 2006, Jim Jones and Dame Dash dropped, “Kingdom Done” during the hype of Jay Z releasing his "Kingdom Come" LP. Jay later replies with “Brooklyn High,” a "We Fly High" diss track. The two parties continue to go back and forth and in 2008, Jay finally releases "Kingdom Come" which included the track "Dig A Hole." Many looked at this track as a response to Cam'ron’s “You Gotta Love It” which he dissed Jay Z after he claimed Jay made false accusations about him and his lifestyle. As of today, there are reportedly no beefs with either parties involved.
