    1. Classic. 1st bitches. Royce hardest out right now, rip eminem up on the whole Hell The sequel EP. NO one fucking with royce right now, only people close is Kuniva or Cam’ron and maybe inspector deck

      1. SMH! haha u fuckin serious?! Cam and Kuniva are the “only ones closest” to Royce? GTFOH, you don’t know a damn thing about rap, you just proved it right there. OMG kid.

      2. Kuniva is better than most give him credit for but he’s not close to Royce…u should have said Elzhi instead.

    2. really on a whole new level of lyricism an content for royce. great beat choice and great hook. that’s good hip hop right there.

    3. why do people like to hear this guy drum on hip hop beats? i would rather hear royce on some premier beats, fuck hard rock drumming over a wack ass guitar loop

      1. co sign just cause he a white boy thats down with rapper dont mean you need to be on his dick every time he bangs away over a rap beat.

    4. holy shit his flow. def one of the best. god thank god shady found slaughterhouse cause i was sleepn on royce forsure… BUT NICKLE NINE WOKE MY ASS UP.

    5. had to listen to it afew times…man his lyrics on this song. his metaphors and punch lines are crazy man WTF!!

    6. Nickel did his thing as usual but the track is just ok. His flow makes me give it a five star rating though.

    7. royce has fallen off a bit. beat is terrible. his controlled, yet emotional monotonous delivery and perfect flow is still among the best ever in hip hop. two stars. who cares about travis barker?

    8. Whoa, white boy let Da’ 59 IQ out the fields for a day?

And this is the dogshit he comes with?

How much “success” did Royce have without massa’?

Answer = as much as he deserves, which is very fucking little.

      Laughterhouse!

      1. Of course royce isnt guna sell….hows he guna do that if hes underground still and hes releasing his album independently? Your not funny because even royce fans know hes not going to sell because hes an independent artist getting NO promo..he knows it too

    9. hook is weak, not the sample of jay but royce, typical way to attack the beat. Mainstream, is that what I hear. Anyway I like this royce sound just think niggas can go harder.

    10. Lyrics >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 95 percent of the rap game..beats wack but his flow was impeccable on this one

    11. This shit goes H.A.M!!!!!!!! Anybody hating on this doesn’t know shit about real hip hop… The wordplay is perfect…The beat knocks!!! Just more proof that Shady has the game on lock!!! Nobody is fucking with the white boy or the slaughter.!!!!!

    12. people come on hear and dont even listen to rap. its like a fetish for them to just hate on every decent to great song. CLOWNS. MAKE SOMETHING BETTER. yeah u probably cant. so stfu. this song couldve been alot better… and who ever said nickle 9 is falling off um did u hear bad meets evil??? dumb fuck! TURN UP your hearing aid.

      1. bad meets evil is average at best and Royce doesnt spit anything close to the level he can on it, he half assed the shit n still slaughtered Eminem

go listen to King of Kings, Bar Exam 1 n 2, Hip Hop is Dead and Street Hop n then tell us BME is dope

that shits not close to Royce at his best your obviously another slim shady bandwagon fan of Royce

    13. I don’t mind using live drums, but by god and heaven why the hell did Royce have to use the drummer from Blink-182!? There are many skilled drummers in the indie and metal underground who would have laced Royce with much more refined playing than Travis Barker could ever dream of.

      5* for the lyrics

      1. yeah man hes sooo the shit, hes got like wicked tattoos man, and hes like the best drummer in the world

        blink 182 mann yeah!!!!

    14. I love Royce, but for some reason I just don’t care for this song.

Almost want to say that if the drum line was sped up along with his flow it would have been much better.

    15. Lyrics and flow are on point, beat is cool but the actual sound mixing on this is horrible. The repetitive guitair loop is too loud, drums are too quiet as are the vocals. They need to take this back to the studio, quieten that irritating guitar loop, up the drums a little and up the vocals a lot!

    16. this was ehh, Lyrics where dope delivery was aiight but honestly i’ve not got high hopes for “Success is Certain” ever since Royce started spendin time with Em again he’s been half assin his shit

guess now the moneys come the hungers gon this shits lookin like a let down after Street Hop which was fire n displayed hunger and great versatility throughout

he needs to be back in the studio with Elzhi

      1. stfu faggot who the fuck are you the internet police, suck a dick faggot i’ll make as many comments as I like you fuckin cornball

and Royce constantly sucks Ems dick that doesnt change the FACT he rhymed harder before he reunited with Eminem

everything on Street Hop slaughters every verse on BME period, deliveries, wordplay, rhyme schemes, metaphors, the works

now run the fuck along n go wave your slim shady pom poms at someone who gives a fuck about mediocre rappers

      2. @beezlebud
you fucking crazy or something nicca? his verses on BME were some of the best of his career flow wise, delivery, wordplay etc. you dumb fuck. maybe not subject matter, but that’s cause it was Bad Meets Evil so it was meant to be on some entertaining, but not serious shit. you fuckin dumb son.

      3. Don Juan stfu you dumb prick not one verse on BME evil can even remotely fuck with what he was spittin on BE2 or Street Hop n mos def isnt fuckin with King of Kings FUCK OUTTA HERE

your obviously a bandwagon fan who has been listenin to Royce 2 years MAXIMUM

    17. Straight ass. Royce has nothing but a decent– but boring– technique. NO IMAGINATION, many cliches, fuck him and the white boy sponsors.

      1. get off his dick Royce
Dont think for one second u had anything to do with those sales. Em could fart on a track and sell millions AND THIS IS YOUR SOLO SHIT LEAVE EMINEM OUT OF IT

    18. hook is weak, not the sample of jay but royce, typical way to attack the beat. Mainstream, is that what I hear. Anyway I like this royce sound just think niggas can go harder.

    19. Every track that royce is dropping is the sh88t, but hip-hop ait, that’s why people is aint going to price him up like before.

      1. Cause Royce is gettin more attention now

Rule #1 of the internet : If people outside the internet know who you are, your wack

    20. Oh look, another Royce song got posted, so now we can have another 400 posts of comparison and complaining about eminem again

SMH……..Get off that mans dick already

      1. Royce ain’t never fall off. Just because he ain’t tryin to shoot niggas ne mo don’t mean he fell off. His rhymin is off the hook in almost every single fuckin song. Give the talented man hisdue

    21. Old Royce is some of the best hip hop out there but this new stuff is way to mainstream
hes was way better when he was angry

      1. LOL , gotta love hip hop fans

“He was way better when he was angry”

Gere’s an idea, maybe you shoud fly to detroit and kill his puppy, get him real pissed off and he’ll make an album for you

Or maybe you’ll get lucky and his wife’ll get cancer or summin, might get another depressing ass “Death Is Certain” album out of it

        We can only hope

      2. People change dumb fuck. I bet you’ve changed since Royce out that old shit, and so has Royce. Royce BEEN spitting that fire in the couple of years. If you ain’t feeling it GTFO.

    22. I dont see why, anyone is even commenting if there gonna hate on Royce. He’s doing his thing and at the end of the day your just a hater behind a computer screen. Show some support for real hip hop thats starting to be in the mainstream.

      1. Thats the Internet for ya, If Niggas aint have summin to cry about they’d have to hang themselves by their mouse chords because they wouldnt know what to do with themselves

    23. Picture $WonDough$ rolling in a rolls royce

Succes is certain cause I am legendary

      and not by choice

    24. It’s decent.. the other tracks i’ve heard from this album are better though.
Lyrics delivery flow great as always
But the beat is too loud…. and the hook is just ok.

      1. You Probably just arent into Rock flavored tracks, I Am, which is why I think the beat is actually the best part of the song

        To each his own tho

    25. He’s doing his thing, point blank period. We all know his lyrical ability, Bad Meets Evil goes to show it. Royce killed this!!

    26. Lol @ this “sounds mainstream” bullshit. Good music is good music, and if this song does get played on the radio fuck it, it’s still a good song.

    27. Why a rock beat? why the fuck?

I hate it when they have rock music mashed up with rap music man.

      Not good at all.

    28. first off, i just wana say that if THIS is what the mainstream sounded like, hiphop would be in much better shape right now. have y’all heard the radio lately? this is not mainstream. Royce probably has the most dynamic flow in rap music, people need to quit hating.
on another note, this def isn’t my favorite track but it’s not bad. Royces part is solid as always. i prefer a more uptempo track like “fastlane” i think that’s where he shines most. track was a little repetitive but i’m comparing this to other royce shit and not the rest of the trash out there

      1. You are a fuckin idiot, go listen to Lil Wayne or Wiz Khalifa cause you are a clown with no face paint.

    29. haha idk why ppl are against mixing shit… mainstream+underground, rock+rap…. it usually sounds filthy… i mean personally i think rappin on rock-i-er beats are pretty ill… like numb with jay z, this song, some of weezy’s shit… izz tighttttt bruhhhh lol

    30. Wow. If the rest of the album like this Royce surely has a banger. Can’t wait for the album to drop.

    31. Royce is a killer lyrical and has nice flow BUT I want him to go back to songs like Hip-Hop by DJ Premier and Street Hop. Nowadays, it is too much disrespectin the bible religion and devil / hell worshippin ‘dont give us That bullshit, much respectability to his music and talent. Give us some of That oldschool Royce!!

      1. You going to far with just one song. Royce is trying to display his talents i would not go in on him just yet.

    32. Personally I’m feeling this song. A lot of hate, but mixing music is not always bad. This is a great example of that.

    33. Mixing rap with a rock beat isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It can sound really good if done correctly. A good example is Eminem’s 3AM remix by Travis Barker. This track by Nickel isn’t too bad at all. 3.5 stars.

    34. crazy how many people seem to care about royce now even if they are hating, i remember when streep hop was coming out a few years ago, those tracks were probably getting 20 comments at the most

      1. true…i’m so happy for ROyce…i’ve been listening to his shit shince Independece Day..i always thought he’s top5

    35. Yo Royce fan for like 10+years, I dont like this one. I cant stand these lame ass punchlines he puttin out “I make my kids peanutbutter and jelly sandwich with a machete” among other ones, Royce I love ur shit, but this is WACK

      1. I have to agree with you, not saying this is wack but he wants eminem pop fans to desperately buy his shit!! honestly, royce ain’t been rappin the same since Bar Exam 2. Although, he was spittin better than eminem on Bad meets Evil for the most part.

    36. Hahaha, I love all y’all haters talkin shit about Royce. Get the fuck up off this niggas dick, just because he spits 10x harder than your favorite rapper.

      1. hahah dude, Black thought is dope, forreal. BUT to say he’d slaughter Royce is just some fucking ignorant ass bullshit, it would be a good battle. Both these fools are hard

    37. August is looking promising…Success is Certain and Watch the Throne…and if any nigga say something about Carter 4 or some other bullshit like that, they deserve to be smacked.

    38. Yo Im gonna be real, listen to this song and listen to the Writers Block shit. Okay now compare THESE two tracks all his other shit: that KaySlay shit Royce did wit Busta Rhymes, to Done Talkin, Motown 25 wit Elzhi, to that Slaughter Brooklyn Go Hard Freestyle, to the whole damn Bar Exam 2, the Slaughterhouse album, to EVERYTHING he ever did in his career besides that wack shit wit Willa Ford in like 2000 lol. I mean, I just dont know why (MOST not all) his verses been like a pile a doo doo for like the last year.

    39. yo i sorta agree wit real talk 100.. im only 16 and imma huge royce fan but he has been comin wit some wack verses this year besides hell the sequal checkmate and writers block

      1. uhh. check out his verse on above the law, fast lane, take from me, loud noises sun doobie, and ofcourse SECOND PLACE to name a FEW then tell me they wack..royce is killin it even if this wasnt his strongest

    40. I gotta say never been much of a fan,but most Mc’s would get swallowed by this track. the first verse he held his own.the second he went for the kill and murder he wrote. props

    41. That’s why your still 16, you know nothing about HipHop!

Just to say to everyone reading this page, Eminems influence is slowly but truly building him an army. Royce KILLED this track, just like he KILLED Fast Lane. Fo some1 who has been a HUGE rap fan since the late 80’s – if we have to look at substance, creativity, quality etc etc, Eminem one of the only if not THE ONLY who is owning the GAME all on its own (however the game may exist at the moment), he is owning that shit outta the GAME….and its not opinion, its FACT! There is not other rapper out there doing what he is doing. Every other “rapper” in the Game, all of em, they all going RIGHT…..and one by one these fools follow eachother, thinking that they can profit offa some other dudes work. EM?????EM is going LEFT all on his own nigga….and dude is killing it….talk about a rapper who CAN hold his own, 100%, and look wat he does with guys like Royce. AS long as these dudes are coming hard, different, raw and lyrically on point….LET THESE GUYS TAKE OVER!!!!!

      1. yeah em got lucky having royce to go to at this point in the game. If royce was already getting money behind him before or during 50 cent times, after em blew up, then i think slaugherhouse and all his new people wouldn’t be getting no where near as much hype. It’s all about timing!

    42. my age is irrelevant for someone who labled royce as his favorite rapper and went back to listen to all his shit from the first bad meets evil all the way to the bar exam 3 this is ok but its not how the royce da 5’9 that i listened to would rap this is jus him on some bs and i aint feelin it

    43. People obviously don’t keep up with Hip-Hop as much as they should. This track is like this because it is the Intro to Success Is Certain. Just like Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy” seemed ‘weak’ to people, that is just the Intro to Take Care. An intro cannot overshadow the rest of the project, instead it must give an idea of what the listeners can expect.

    44. u get the ghini I’m sittin in ridin through pittsburgh while I’m listenin to whiz khalifi.. lol that shit tight man.

    45. Some crazy lines in there. Yet to buy the album yet (or listen to it), but hope he does do some specific subject matter songs.
