613: Ashy to Classy is the latest entry from Hip Hop music new hot bed, The South. This current urban release is from new group called Field Mob. The group is comprised of rappers Boondox and Kalage. This new duo were raised in Albany, a rural foreground just outside of Atlanta.

The group was signed by MCA label and is relative new addition to the Hip Hop industry. Field Mob's lyrical style has similarities to another Georgia based group called Goodie Mob. This group has continued following The Dirty South recipe of storytelling and innuendos in their lyrics, with experimental Southern style beats.

The album production is definitely a solid fixture, accompanying their dope beats and clever lyrics. The cuts I would suggest to lock into would be Crutch, their debut single Project Dreamz which is tale that depicts their poverty stricken surroundings called The Field and the ode to male gender My Main Roni. The group takes a define loop with experimental tracks Can't Stop Us and Shake Sumpthin where they indulge their lyrical assault on some southern dancehall beats.

The downfall to the group would be that they lack variety in their style for our worldwide universal listeners. For instance, like other fellow Dirty South players, some of their songs sound quite repetitive. I can definitely guarantee that some of their lyrical overtones, slang and skits could be only understood by Georgian residents or their local peers. This could be widely caused by their inexperience in the rap game or hip hop industry as a whole.

Field Mob's debut album would definitely be concrete for fellow local supporters and admirers. In the hip hop genre though, it would be measured as a good or moderate album. However, there are signs that duo has a promising future and they will be positive mainstays in the Dirty South Region.
