This weekend artists will come together in Detroit to hold a benefit show for Hip Hop manager and Detroit Hip Hop mainstay Hex Murda [click to read]. Artists involved in the upcoming benefit include Black Milk [click to read], Guilty Simpson, Royce Da 5’9, Slum Village, Paradime, and more.

Back in September Hex Murda suffered from a stroke and has been in the hospital since. Proceeds from the show, which will cost fans $10, will go directly to Hex Murda for medical expenses and other expenses incurred.

“He's the all-present face of Detroit Hip Hop,”
Paradime told DetroitNews.com. “He knows this business up and down. He's well read, he remembers everybody's names, and he's on top of everything.”

The benefit show will take place on Saturday, October 17 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit.

Hex Murda is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at an area hospital.
