DX News Bits: Mos Def, POS and Eyedea & Abilities

Mos Def has made his presence known in music and film. However, he has also tried his hand at modeling. Going back to that part of the industry, Mos is currently modeling for UNDRCRWN Footwear & Apparel [click here]. In fact, he is modeling for the Mos Def Collection, a part of the line that was inspired by Def's work.

Im loving what [UNDRCRWN] is doing. Loving how they show creativity, wit and style with their line and Im really inspired by how they put their garments together. [Im] Loving how they got a very unique perspective on athletic style. They make some very strong overtures to Brooklyn and Bed-Stuy and thats me, so I responded to that almost immediately! What theyre doing is very distinct, Mos said in a statement on the brand's site.

In other news, underground acts P.O.S. and Eyedea & Abilities will take their Rhymesayer show on the road later this month. According to their label [click here], the two acts are set to begin their short tour in late October but they will only hit the Midwest. For the dates, please see below.
