Jay-Z Defends Kanye West, Wants To Work with Rock Stars

In a recent interview, Jay-Z aknowledged Kanye West's MTV outburst and noted that West's comments were "inappropriate at the time." However, he went on to add that "He's just a super-passionate person."

He went on to say that it shouldn't be as big a story as some have made it, according to Eurweb.com [click here].

"Of course it was rude because it was her moment but that's the way he really felt. I think it was rude but the way they're treating him... He's on the cover of every paper. He didn't kill anybody. No one got harmed."

Jay also went on to note that he'd like to work with several rock stars including Bono from U2 and Jack White of the White Stripes and added that he's earning a few things from Coldplay's Chris Martin.

"Bono would be a great person to work with. I think he's cool He's good!," he told MusicOMH.com [click here]. "He does so many things. He's had longevity, he's made classic albums, he's still relevant right now and he does so much for the world. He's a complete human being."

Of Jack White, he said: "I think he's brilliant. I think he's a genius."

Though he has already worked with Coldplay's Chris Martin, he also says he might follow his lead and do ssome yoga in the future.

"Chris hasn't tried to get me to do yoga yet but I am close to doing it. I'm envious of what he can do on stage. Watching him is amazing, he can really move. I want to be able to move like that, get my leg behind my ear, things like that."
